We can expand our existence. We live through categories- we understand things as specific and unchanging instances, where everything will b the same forever; we believe things exist in a vacuum. However, we always change. Humans have existed outside of the understandings of others since the start of civilizations. We did not comprehend other’s cultures, identities, genders, and beliefs. Instead of understanding differences, we went to violently remove these ppl and ideas. We fight amongst ourselves to put down anything unknown. We force ourselves into a category and suppress all who don’t follow it. Our way of measuring identity is not good – it does not accommodate change, fluctuations, and potential. We do not exist in instances, but as non linear and amorphous beings that interact with our environment.
